Created by Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, Un Jardin à Cythère eau de toilette is a surprising garden, neither green nor flowery, but… blond. It expresses an olfactory quest through the Peloponnese that leads to Kythira, a pristine Greek island that has inspired many artists.
THE OLFACTORY NOTES
A citrus and woody fragrance, Un Jardin à Cythère eau de toilette combines the enveloping character of grasses with the strength of olive wood and the tenderness of fresh pistachio.
THE BOTTLE
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of vintage car lanterns. The glass is enlivened by a luminous yellow gradient, echoing the sunny fragrance. On the case, artist Elias Kafouros sketches a colorful landscape of his native land: golden grass, the green of olive trees, the pink of fresh pistachios, and, in the background, the blue of the sea.
